DogHaven offers a variety of group agility classes for dogs and handlers of all ages and skills. Group classes include six weeks of one hour sessions for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. No dog is too old or too young for agility. Puppies begin their training after they are six months old.

| In this series of classes you
and your dog will be introduced to Jumps, Weave poles, Dog Walk,
A-Frame, See Saw, Chute, Tunnel, and Table. You will learn the
correct way to maneuver through each obstacle and will be
running short sequences by the end of the session. |
Students will continue toward mastering independent performance of all equipment. Emphasis will be put on the teeter, weave poles and contacts. In addition, a different course will be presented every week to improve the team's abilities in sequencing . |

| The new handler/dog team is introduced to routines that will add control to their performance. We will master start line stays, directional commands and targeting techniques through instruction and learning games. | These classes focus on you as the handler. You will learn the skills needed to turn, cross, spin, and move through a course to find the best possible route for you and your dog! Instruction includes how body language works, timing, crosses (front, back, static, blind) and turns (post, reverse flow pivot). |
| Advanced I | Advanced II |
| This class is for the teams serious about competing or are already competing on the novice level. The dog and handler will learn to work better as a team. Emphasis is put on focus, accuracy and timing while building distance and obstacle discrimination skills. | Further emphasis is given to discrimination, distance, setting lines, and patterns. The courses will be set at the AKC Excellent level. |
