DogHaven is owned and operated by Karl and Deborah Knowles.  We are certified, veterinarian recommended pet dog trainers. All of our methodologies are based on creating a positive relationship with your dog. We are a family owned business committed to providing top quality services to meet all of your canine needs. Our primary goal is to make living with your dog easier and much more enjoyable.

 At DogHaven, we specialize in obedience, agility, and behavior management training. We believe that obedience provides the foundation for every aspect of a dog's life including all dog sports.  Our training methods are based on positive  reinforcement with praise, food and toys. We have found that dogs learn faster and become more consistent in their performance if they enjoy what the are doing.  Good attitudes and patience are encouraged from all of our students.

  We are members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), American Dog Owners Association (ADOA), local breed clubs, and we enjoy volunteering our time to area events, rescue groups and shelters. Our trainers receive 40 hours of education every year and are encouraged to be CPDT certified.
